Whew. I'm pooped. Are you pooped? I am. And it's got nothing to do with soiling myself. It's been a long week. My sitter is on vacation so I'm hanging with the kiddos 24 x 7 - in addition to trying to keep up with all the summer sewing orders. Not easy my friend. Not easy.
So let's make today's change an easy one. You good with that? I mean, it's Friday... the weekend's almost here... I'm exhausted....
Now let's see... easy change... simple... hmmmm....
OOH! I know! Yeah, yeahyeahyeahyeahyeah. Super easy. And gas-related, which seems fitting, since I've recently started to think I may be lactose intolerant.
Today's change is: Don't start the car till you're ready to go.
Wow. Earth-shattering stuff here at Burbanmom. I'd expound on the idea, but I already did that in the original post. I could copy and paste, but that sounds a lot like work. And did I mention I'm TIRED?
And for those of you who don't drive, but instead rely on public transportation, bikes, or Nike Power. Take the day off. You've earned it! And if you've got a free moment, stop by and watch the kids so I can take a nap.

Already nearly Saturday here. Two more days and the kids are back to school for the winter term and going into spring. And hubby got a job until xmas so I'll have the house and shop to myself.
I think I'm feeling lonely :)

For re-districting reasons, I had to drive my daughter to school last year. (We did work out a carpool). Anyway on my days to pick up I noticed a guy in line would get there early and keep his car running. I estimate 45 minutes. Some days it would be a pleasant 65 degrees outside! I emailed the principal asking her to encourage parents to not let their car idle in line but I never heard back from her.
Oh, man, I must have missed your original post. Suddenly, I'm craving a pop tart for breakfast.
Sometimes I start the car when I'm ready to go and I forget not everyone else is ready. I've driven off with a few teenagers still hanging onto the door with one foot in the car! Don't worry, I didn't make it very far.....
LOL Don't start the car till you're ready to go. And never go until you are in the car.
