I showed it to my electrical engineer husband. He just looked at the graphic and said, "That's not funny", which I thought was incredibly funny ;).
On a serious note, we watched The End of Suburbia last night, and this graphic makes their point nicely - there is not "simple" solution to the oil crisis.

I seriously didn't get it at first.. I did my a2 + b2 = c2 and got 5 and thought what does this have to do with simplicity?? DUHH!!
